Kahawa

The Kahawa – crafted from dark brown, vegetable-tanned, full-grain Italian leather that is approximately 2 mm thick. I first introduced this collection in 2017, using leather that I had dyed myself at that time. Now, I have sourced the perfect pre-dyed leather from a tannery, which is why this collection is now available again in an improved form. The leather develops a beautiful, glossy patina over time and with use, becoming more beautiful as it ages.

Kahawa is the Kiswahili word for coffee, and I chose this name not only because of the color but also because this collection allowed me to document many wonderful memories from my travels in Kenya.
