MY MATERIALS
Every great product starts with the materials. For my work, I only use vegetable-tanned, full-grain leather that will become even more beautiful with time and use. I combine this with solid brass hardware that will age and develop a patina alongside the leather.
HOW I WORK
Every product you can purchase on my website is handmade by me. My handbags and notebook covers are cut by hand, then hand-stitched with durable saddle stitching, and I put great effort into the small finishing details.
WHAT I STAND FOR
My goal is to approach my craft in the same way that many traditional leatherworkers before me have done. I work with simple, often improvised tools and materials of the highest quality to create a durable, high-quality product.
HI, I'M MAGDALENA
I founded Mansorah Atelier in 2017 to fund my degree in Cultural Anthropology. All my products are designed and handmade by me. After graduating in 2021, I decided to follow my heart and make Mansorah Atelier my full-time job. I was born and raised in Bavaria, Germany, and I’ve had a passion for planners, journals, and stationery ever since I was a child. Growing up with horses, leather, and leather care has also always played a big role in my life. So, when I first discovered Travelers Notebooks in 2015, I quickly started making my own simple leather notebooks. One joy of handcraft for me is that you never stop learning and perfecting your art. Every new piece is unique and deserves to be made with respect and care.

THE NAME
Mansorah Atelier is named after my wonderful horse Almansor (* 22.05.1988 - † 02.02.2021).
